Well done to everybody today. The year 6 children started their cognitive ability tests. These should be finished tomorrow. The results of the tests will be sent out on Monday 12th October, alongside a short mid-term report that I have prepared. Year 5 children will also receive a short mid-term report on that Monday.
Tomorrow is PE so please wear kits. In the afternoon, the children will be cooking some WWII recipes. Sadly these cannot be brought home (could be a good thing).
We rearranged a few seating positions today. I understand that the children like to sit next to friends, and we do try to ensure that they are happy where they are sitting. However, our top priority is that the children are sat where they have the best chance of engaging with the learning.
In class, we have finished ‘The Silver Donkey’, and we will now be moving on to ‘Letters From the Lighthouse’. This means that, as of tomorrow, our new text on the website will be ‘Orphans of the Tide’ by Strain Murray.
Hope all is well.
Kind regards
Mr Mclean
Bless her. I will try and send over the recipe in the morning. Get well soon.
Sadly Lily won’t be in tomorrow as she vomited twice today. Is there any chance we could use your recipe so she could try some cooking at home tomorrow please?
